Description
Learn engineering skills of tomorrow "making" and programming this interdisciplinary Robotic Remote Control car. Approximately 25 hours of learning from this fundamental Robotics kit is anticipated.
Students will learn:
1) Micro-Controller programming using Arduino UNO and NANO microcontrollers. How do you get motors to drive forward, backwards, left and right?
2) How do you communicate using two micro-controllers using RF transceivers like NRF24L01 and give Remote Control commands
3) How can you make Robots that sense the world around you using sensors ex. Motion/Distance sensors or Light sensors?
4) Learn fundamentals of hardware and electronics as well as associated skills such as soldering, wiring, reading and understanding circuit diagrams
5) How do you control LED display units?
6) Do not forget to have 100's of hours of fun with this very versatile and open ended kit :-) More project ideas built upon the same kit will be released in the future.
